Has Obama lost his “Mojo”?

Has President Obama lost his “Mojo”? Since Scott Brown won the Massachusetts senatorial seat I think so. Two months ago the Democrats were defeated in Virginia and in New Jersey. Obama campaigned in both New Jersey and Virginia for the Democratic candidates. Both of the candidates lost. The President traveled  to Copenhagen and “NO DEAL HOWIE!!!”

The notion that the President can fly into town, hit a few campaign stops on behalf of the candidate and turn the tide of an election is non sense. Politics are local, they always have been and always will be. Yeah its nice to see the President and the motorcade, figure out who the Secret Service Agents are, etc. etc. But when the President leaves town all that is left are the two candidates and the voters. Too bad for Coakley.

I alway base my decision on who to vote for on the candidate’s viewpoints and issue positions. I don’t care who supports who. Matter of fact, if someone has a ton of support from other politicians or several organizations, newspapers etc.,  I tend to shy away from that candidate. Those candidates in my opinion are already in someone’s pocket. We have enough of those type politicians in DC already.

An 0 -4 start for the President is not a good one.
