Here are some thoughts from events that happened this past week.
1. Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. Was this a slap in the face of George Bush? Do those Nobel people want something? Was the award nothing more than a publicity stunt to draw interest to the awards? Who knows. I say give the award to people who do good deeds. What’s next for Obama ? Knighthood?
2. The Georgia Bulldogs are pathetic! Should we fire the coach and start over? Fire all the coaches? I think we keep Richt – fire everyone else.
3. My daughter – she being recruited by several colleges to swim. What a process this has been. She has made 3 recruiting trips thus far. The trips are exhausting. She comes home just worn out. She has two more to go and hopefully she can make a decision.
4. ”Iran’s ambassador to the UN, Mohammad Khazaee, sent a letter of protest to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moonin which he wrote that “there is no explanation for Israel’s continuing threats against Tehran”.
He was referring to an interview given by former Deputy Defense Minister Ephraim Sneh to the Sunday Times in which he said that if Iran were not further sanctioned by this Christmas Israel would attack the country.” The Israelis are serious. The rest of the world doesn’t seem as serious. Anyone know why?
Hey Steve ,I will agree with you on Obama he should have not gotten the nobel peace prize, he has not done enough yet, but I guess they gave it to him hoping he will do a much better job than George. I do not like all the hate people have towards Pres. Bush- I happen to like him, did not agree with all the things he did in the last 4 years but still think he did what he thought was best for the country at the time. I enjoy reading peoples points a view, whether I agree with it or not. Rush makes some good points sometimes, but he is just so negative . I just wanted to stop by check out your blog and leave my opinion. (lol)
